Currently, I'm channeling my inner Morey and I've essentially turned Dez, Larry Fitz, David Wilson, Bernard, Kendall Hunter, Kembrell Thompkins and Blackmon into Frank Gore, C.J. Spiller, Desean Jackson, Andre Johnson and Vernon Davis. What are the best trades you've ever pulled off?
This year I've only made one trade: Deandre Hopkins for Hakeem Nicks. I'm convinced I ripped him off. My friend is trading away Koepernick for Alex Smith... Disgusting.
I don't know if it's my best trade in terms of value, but this trade saved my season last year I traded Jamal Charles for Vincent Jackson and Heath miller. Moved me from the fringe of the playoffs to losing the championship by 7 points
Wasn't paying attention and got autodrafter D. Bowe and Murray, I hated both of them and was looking to trade them. Give: Bowe (bust), Murray, D-Rich (bust), L. Moore (bust) Receive: J. Charles So now I'm rolling with Brees, AP, Charles and Graham in my 10 team PPR league.
This happened twice for me but I traded Charles for megatron in 2011 the week before he broke down in 2011 as well as trading Chad Johnson for AJ Green, as for this year I dealt Jones for MCCoy.
My starting lineup in week one was: Manning, Lynch, Gore, Nicks, Julius Thomas, Hilton, and Ridley and my bench consisted of Cutler, Hillman, Ingman, Tate, Hopkins, Shorts Today my starting line up is: Luck, Moreno, Bernard, Welker, Terrance Williams, Julius Thomas, Kenbrell Thompkins and my bench is Ryan Mathews, Harry Douglas, Hartline, and Roddy White. Not a single person I drafted is still on my roster. I got lucky and picked up Thomas right before the first game because whatever TE I had drafted wasn't going to cut it. My team is 4-2 and tied for 2nd place.
I'm confused.. Luck < Peyton (Luck > Eli) Moreno < Lynch Bernard < Gore Welker > Nicks T Williams ~ Hilton Thomas = Thomas Thompkins < Ridley I suppose your bench is better, and when Roddy gets back it might be close to even.
I should've clarified the fact that it was Eli haha. I essentially turned Ridley into Moreno. That is where my trading frenzy all began. At that point I had no receivers with just a strong running back core of Moreno/Lynch. I decided to try to up my receiver core by trading for Welker and I also got Bernard back in the trade. I like Bernard and have all season. I think he is going to be a hell of a player that does big things for the Bengals. He has already showed some flashes of being a very good back. I mainly traded Gore thinking he would fall off and I could get something for him while his value was high. That's how I got Luck. I'm also really hoping Roddy White is able top return very strongly soon. I guess my best trade has been Bernard Pierce/Hilton for Moreno/White.
I'm pretty proud of my trade where I sent Brandon Jacobs and Percy Harvin for Andre Johnson last week. I turned two free agent pickups into another WR-1 to go along with Demaryius Thomas on my team
I traded Brad Daugherty for a slice of Pizza after he got Virtigo. And I traded Magic Johnson about two hours before he went public with HIV, keeping my roomate away from the television and ESPN in order to get the deal done.
Well my team is officially stacked. Just traded Rivers and Spiller for Marshawn Lynch. My team now looks like this QB-Rodgers RB-Lynch, Forte, Bernard, L. Bell, L. Miller WR-Green, D. Jackson, Decker, S. Johnson TE- Jimmy Graham
I got Brandon Marshall for Reggie Wayne and Tavon Austin lol. Dodged a huge bullet and got a WR1 while letting a complete fantasy bust go.
