As someone said he's definitely NOT broke. He actually is very rich, from real estate.

I think he made peace with his music image. Instead of brooding and wanting to be taken "seriously" he's banking off of it more like having a workout vids to the song and stuff. I've seen a vid of him comfortably performing the Turtles song in recent years

Seems aware, just doesnt care. Perhaps cuz he has a lucrative "day job" now, that takes the sting and pressure off and he can just go perform for fun and extra checks.

 

he is the john rocker level of flippin' houses.

 

I have a relative that does that and it is a better investment than buying land at this current condition.
