I mentioned this here a while ago but it has gotten really good recently so I'll mention it again. http://mondaypunday.com My college buddy and comedian Matthew Broussard (he's been a pretty popular local stand up in Houston for a couple of years now, who will be featured on Workaholic's Adam Devine's Comedy Central stand up show Adam Devine's House Party) runs a webcomic site that features a sketch of a play on words. For example: That would be Spoiler "Hairy (Harry) Potter" He's done a bunch of them and it's a fun way to waste your day and he updates it every week on Mondays, obviously. Let me know if you can't get any of them, I have solved all but a couple of them.
You got it, Swoly. My intention in this thread is not to post answers though, but just clues. It's more fun that way. Also, if you scroll over the picture, there is a clue which is often a pun itself.
IC - good Don't you mean "put mouse pointer over the picture"? *I was looking for a scroll bar on the right, but didn't find one.
I thought the text that pops up when you put the pointer over the picture were called "scroll-overs" but maybe not?
It's actually "alternate text", meant for the screen readers for the blind and text browsers. Its parameter inside an image HTML tag is ALT Code: < img src="filenameofthepicture.jpg" alt="This Should Describe the Photo for AD Compliance"> Nowadays, people say "mouseover" and "rollover" to actually mean "put your mouse pointer over the picture." On Windows systems, it's a 'tooltip' if over an item that brings up a small text in a cream-colored box (default color).
I think it also includes the word U.S. or Highway. The 3 dot ellipse means an omission of a word, so I'm guessing it's more like "Route 66 Highway" or "U.S. Route 66" ....... ....... .......
