From a basketball perspective, Houston gives Dwight everything he wants a needs. From a financial perspective, Houston does the same - especially with the China connection.

However from a celebrity, weather, willing white girls and overall living situation, Houston sucks ass. It's simply not a fun place to live compared to somewhere like LA. We'll see what is most important to Dwight.

Dwight Howard: Golden State Warriors make push for former Lakers star

The Warriors kicked off free agency Monday by going after the biggest fish on the market: Dwight Howard.

Co-owner Joe Lacob, general manager Bob Myers and coach Mark Jackson were all in Los Angeles making their pitch to Howard, a free agent. Then, Warriors point guard Stephen Curry, who has been in Howard's ear, worked out with the stud center on the UCLA campus.

No, Golden State doesn't seem at all deterred by Howard's propensity for drama, his recent injuries, or his wanting to play for other teams.

"Are you kidding?" one source said. "He's the best center in the game."

Golden State is considered an underdog in the Howard sweepstakes. The Los Angeles Lakers can offer the most money, $117 million for five years, but Howard is reportedly leaning toward leaving the Lakers.

The Houston Rockets are perceived to be the front-runners. They have a star to pair with Howard in guard James Harden. The Rockets also have the salary cap space to sign Howard, though the most Houston could offer is $88 million over four years, per the league's collective bargaining agreement. Atlanta and Dallas also figure to have the cap space.

The only way Golden State can acquire Howard is via a sign-and-trade with the Lakers, likely involving Andrew Bogut. New CBA rules limit the Warriors to four years, $88 million even in a sign-and-trade.

But the Warriors have a few advantages to sell. If Golden State can keep young talents Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes out of the trade offer, the Warriors have arguably the best lineup with which to surround Howard.

Conventional wisdom says the Warriors will have to give up at least Thompson or Barnes with Bogut, but the Lakers would risk losing Howard for nothing by playing hardball with Golden State. But one source said that while the Warriors are willing to part with one of their young players, the preference is to send Bogut and an expiring contract to Los Angeles.

Howard would not have the same concerns about getting involved on offense with Golden State, a team desperate for inside scoring, that he's had in L.A. Complemented by shooters such as Curry and Thompson, Howard figures to get plenty of room to roam in the paint.

Curry would give Howard a bona fide star to help carry the load but without the domineering presence Howard dealt with in Lakers star Kobe Bryant.

There are willing girls here LOL

Tbh, I want a player that doesn't care about partying during the regular season. Lebron shuts himself out of the world in the playoffs and I doubt he drinks during the season. You're on the road half the time anyway.
