    Dont bother dating a chick that smokes if you yourself are a non-smoker. Even if she is hot, its like licking the bottom of a nasty ashtray when you kiss her.... and makes you feel like you are going to ralph afterwards.

    Unfortunately, nearly every chick I have met so far in H-town smokes......

    I'm amazed at how many people smoke.

    I went to this party that a friend of my older cousin was having, and like 70% of the people there, young adults in they're early and mid 20's, were smoking left and right.

    If you dont smoke, you are not cool. Thats what I learned in 3rd grade. I guess I am not cool.

    I have nothing against smokers, just hate being a non-smoker when all of the lovely ladies smoke like little chimineas.... It sucks....

    By the way, why are you still a junior member with nearly 2000 posts???

    If they smoke to be "cool", then i have no business dating them ... regardless how fine they are.

    Yes, the outside matters greatly, but the inside is what counts.

    I totally hear you about the smoking chicks. I was just messin around with my comment.

    As for the Junior Member status...I wish I had the answer. The powers above control it.

    It's a real shame, and this is coming from someone who smoked and enjoyed it until his early 20's, but I hardly ever go to clubs anymore to listen to music. The smoke isn't any worse than it ever was, but my body just can't handle it. I get a headache before the evening is over and have a headache and sinus problems the next day. And the headache's not from drinking, either. (I wish it was, but some meds I take doesn't allow it :()

    There has been talk in Austin of banning smoking in clubs or restricting it. I hope they do it. They would get the business of an ardent music fan again. I know other people who feel the same way.

    One compliment I have about smokers....they tip a helluva lot better than non smokers.

    Plus, when you sit in the smoking section of a resturant, there usually aren't any screaming kids near your table.
