Now I understand why we didn't make the playoffs. The players gave it him, no Vaseline. That was epic lesson.

I agree a blockbuster is unlikely, but a minor move of some sort would/could have impact. If any deal is done, I look for this kind.

So basically a ''buy low'' for a player expiring at the end of the year? Wouldn't be a bad idea to beef up our bench.

To get Love will be nice. Then we own the board. If not, Josh Smith should fit in with the offence of the Rockets. Milsap would have been a good choice if the Rox didn't undress him in the last blow-out at the Jazz, lol.

Wouldn't hurt to have one more "seasoned veteran" to show the young players how to play with poise and good decision making.

And that really is the problem isn't it? If you put two heavy duty rebound vacuums on the court at the same time what do you have? A vacuum and a half?

As long as Asik is manning the 5 why would the Rockets invest in another huge rebounder? There are only so many rebounds to go around.

With Asik, Lin, Parsons and Harden I count 26 rebounds a game from the starters without the power forward. How many are their total? 46?

Not a worst-case scenario at all. If we can use our cap-space to pick up a player on an expiring contract that can help us make a playoff run, that'd be awesome. Even better, that, plus converting Aldrich, and Morris into a mid-1st rounder.

I expect a "Marcus Camby" like trade that can improve a need (I hope Defense) but will expire at the end of the year.

I know Morey is workin the phones! He would never sit back at a trade deadline, I mean this is what he lives for!

If it's a short-term move for a veteran with an expiring contract, I'm guessing a center to back up Asik but take away minutes from Aldrich and Smith.

Or maybe a small forward to give more depth behind Parsons and Delfino.

This is the first time that i won't be extremely disappointed if the Rockets don't do anything at the trade deadline.

As far as doing a Marcus Camby type of deal to help us make that playoff push, book it.

I would be happy to see him come back. I think he would be great with the bench players we have. Hopefully we can move out aldrich and morris or something along those lines.

I don't believe a Camby trade will be anything easy, but Morey is looking out for a Caucasian player.
