    I didn't read that very carefully and for a second I thought it said they were considering Texas City. I was preparing my "OMFG IDIOTS THAT PLACE SUCKS AND STINKS XGAMES R A JOKE!!!!!!" comment.

    I'd be ok with Austin or FW getting it cuz it's just the X Games after all.

    I liked the XGames back in the day. I don't really care for it too much now. I liked it when it was just Vert and Skatepark skating, and bmx, and fruit booters.

    Now it's all this other crazy ****.


    Where would they do street luge? There are no hills.

    I could see Reliant Park complex be used for rally car driving thing they do.

    I have a feeling that if a Texas city gets the X-Games, it's going to be Austin with it's national 'hip' rep.

    If Austin gets if (over Houston or another Texas city), it will be because of the venue: COTA. I've been to two events there (F1 and Grand Am of the Americas) and they could do anything. It's massive and can handle anything...including cars.
