    Been to Taft, it is a very small town. By the looks of it doesn't seem to be a massive rampage either. Also Taft used to be called Moron. True story.

    I would really just prefer if the nation wasn't as fixated on things like this. If it's a huge news story, sure, but if it's an isolated incident I don't think it needs to be a big deal. The more coverage something like this gets, IMO the greater likelihood that attention seekers will follow. Really not a problem with the thread, that was a knee jerk reaction on my part, just a broader problem with the news media. I'm just venting.
