It won't go away until we return to the Lunar surface, and return to one of the landing sites to fetch back to the Smithsonian one of the flags we left there, all broadcast live to Earth as it happens. Heck, even then we'll have lunatics... uh, I meant to say bewildered people, thinking it's all a hoax. Some folks are simply afraid of science, and things they just don't understand, in my opinion. I vividly recall watching the Moon Landing being reported by Walter Cronkite on CBS News. If it was a hoax, they fooled Cronkite and they fooled me.

I never had the pleasure, but if we went back today I'd be glued to the TV 24/7 while they were up there. It'd be downright amazing to me.

I have family who were in Mission Control during the moon landings. The evidence is there, you just have to believe facts instead of liars.
