    Oh, how truly heartbreaking! I cannot even begin to imagine.....My condolences to Coach and his family. Is there anything we, as a fan community, can do? Send flowers or sign a group ecard or something to let him know we're thinking of him? It's just so sad.

    While any death in the family is sad, there honestly can't be anything worse than the death of a child. Simply devastating news. :(

    "Alexandra “Sasha” McHale, the daughter of Rockets coach Kevin McHale, passed on Saturday. She was 22.

    McHale has been on a leave of absence to be with his daughter and his family in Minneapolis since Nov. 10. His daughter has long battled lupus, an auto-immune disease, and was hospitalized with a related condition."

    condolence to the mchale family, and rest in peace

    does put everything we been arguing about on this bbs with royce, lin, sampson, etc into perspective. it is just a game after all

    There is more to life than just basketball.

    Much as i want him back to guide the team, it's a no brainer that he deserves all the time in the world to recover from this tragedy. :(
