...the French one was attacked, and the US one was sung to ...the 'Star Spangled Banner'. Apparently, the French brokered a peace treaty in the Ivory Coast between the government and rebels, and the citizens are quite angry with the French. (I saw video on BBC news last night with posters like 'USA is Better'. I bet the French cannot stand that. ) The crowds appear to believe that we can/are doing something different than the French, although the State Dept says we support the French-sponsored accord. Here we have a country that is saying things like "Our freedom is in your hands, U.S.A." , and we don't even hear about it on our news. Why is that? I hope all of the French are able to evacuate unharmed. The situation sounds rather unstable.
C'mon Junior, can't we fight three wars on three continents simultaneously AND fix the economy??? Let's Roll...right down the crapper!
I don't think this is an issue of war for us, but it should at least make our news if so many people are relying on us to do something. Some foreigners apparently believe that we still stand for something good.
haha...this is great. i love how they are sticking it to the frenchies. the frenchies are a bunch of jerks anyways. plus they are right when they say the usa is better. france is everything that it says the usa is, except for the fat part...we are just fat. the french are full of themselves, uncaring, and lazy.
