FoxSports hired Ken Rosenthal, I believe he was, or is a writer. And I would think Universal Sports owned by NBC is trying to become ESPN and would be a major player in getting some of these writers. The biggest lost for ESPN has to be Peter Gammons besides Erin Andrews, who is more for the outside than inside.

They should replace him with Clyde Drexler. That man does his homework. We'd really miss him on broadcasts, but NBA fans deserve a good analyst so ESPN can have him if and only if they promise to let him speak when spoken to on air.

Stern might block the hiring. Woj is the SVG of basketball journalism.

He probably thinks ESPN has little journalistic integrity when it comes to seriously critiquing the NBA and how its run.

Or because it pays Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless a bunch of money to throw spit at one another and markets that as "sports journalism".

Now Broussard needs to stop pretending he's a bonafide insider and ESPN may gain a scrap of credibility

Enjoyed this quote from the article: "This is just conjecture, but the departure of Bucher probably makes shifting Chris Broussard back to being an “information guy” much easier."
