    This is indeed GREAT news.

Now, if we could just get the cheerleaders to "slut it up" more, the Texans would have the perfect game-day experience.

I'm just happy they stock Houston brews.

Every time I go to a stadium event I expect to be limited to Shiner/Ziegenbock at best.

I know at one time I could get a 24 oz Shiner for 10 bucks.

I guess the price went down.

Big deal. I can get a 12 pack of Pabst Blue at the grocery store for like 8 bucks.

That's funny, because I work with several season ticket holders that always complain to the team about the cheerleaders being too hoochie. I think there are quite a few vocal people like that at the games. This is probably why the cheerleaders aren't scandalous enough for you.

Last time I bought beer at Reliant it was offered in one of those screw top aluminum bottles. Do they still pull this scam at sports arenas?

How it works is this: the shorter cup is wider, but people see a taller glass/cup and they think it's bigger. Because no one paid attention in chemistry class.

Cornell University published a rather interesting paper about this not too long ago:

"Bottoms Up! The Influence of Elongation and Pouring on Consumption Volume"

Cheap compared to other priced venues doesn't mean that it is cheap in of itself.

Also I'd prefer it if our ticket prices were the cheapest instead, I am not a heavy drinker at public venues.
