in a 12 team ppr league all tds are worth 6pts

    .5 for a reception

1 point for 30 yards passing

    1 for 10 yards rushing

bonus at 150 rushing and 350 passing

with the first pick...do i chose from one of the top 3 rbs or grab rodgers?

i will obviosly have 3rd tier rbs to chose from on the way back...but is it worth it in this scoring format to get rodgers?

or foster and a romo/manning/ryan type qb?

    any help would be appreciated

Take Foster and hope Newton gets back to you

You'd take Rodgers if it wasn't PPR.

If you are going to go with RB, as moe suggested, one thing you need to keep in mind, this is my general advice about it: you cannot gain a significant advantage at running back without thinning the options available from your opponents.

So many times fantasy owners will use a fill-in-my-roster mentality, they have their checklist in mind (on that list, a stud running back, a quality qb, etc) and once they have those positions filled they look elsewhere, when they should be limiting the options at that position in successive rounds.

My advice is if you want to take foster number 1, I would also take a running back in the 2nd or 3rd round as well.

And you need at least 5 quality backs drafted in the first 10 rounds. 5 backs, 3 wr, 1 te and 1 qb would be an ideal situation.

In this situation, I would probably go (running back #1), in round 2 and 3, best wr + Ryan Mathews. I would probably then go with another receiver in the 4th round and nab Phillip Rivers in the 5th round.

Then you can go with a te, wr or rb in 6 and 7. Just remember that you are looking for 5 quality backs in the first 10 rounds. You do that and you have my blessing on foster!
