    I was conceived in Mexico and born in the U.S. Im pretty sure my parents were just training me for a future in Olympic swimming....Also who else can say they crossed a whole river before even being born. Exactly, nobody....

    Unplanned. My youngest sibling was 14 when I was born, and the oldest was 20. My mom thought I was a kidney infection. In all honesty though, my mom and sisters treated me like a prince. My family wasn't wealthy, but I always knew I was loved.

    Mothers who are supposed to care really don't care (that much), so whats the point of caring. Live and love it however you got here.

    I actually think the "have kids later in life" mantra is overrated. Its good according to our social customs, but goes against best period of actual fertility.

    They tell me no, but I was conceived a few months after they married- and they had wanted to save for a bigger house (while they both worked) before they had kids.

    My maternal grandfather's family came to the US from Ireland in the 19th century. They left as a family of 7...they arrived as a family of 8, because a baby was born while on board.

    Can you imagine how desperate you would have to be to leave a place that you would get on a boat to cross the Atlantic in those kinds of conditions back then knowing that you could very well go into labor while on board? That's a huge part of the story of America.
