    Why bother? Unless the Warriors were prescient enough to sign him to a 2-year deal (like they apparently did with Chris Porter), he'll be a free agent this summer. And won't the Rockets have tons of cap room?

    It's not Marc Jackson's only big game either!! He's had 2 or 3 monsters out of his last 2 or 3 games. He's getting some PT and making the most of it all! The guy has a sweet touch out to the 3 point line - amazing for such a big guy!!

    I've gotta say he's a chance for ROY if he can perform even 1/2 as well as he did today on a semi-regular basis.

    Seems like the next Brad Miller-A center who comes out of nowhere, plays well, and will get paid decently in the offseason.

    Swopa-According to this site http://members.home.net/nbasalaries/Teams/gsdata.htm he only has a 1 year contract. Says the same for Porter (as well as Houston's Langhi). Who knows? Geez, the Warriors now have 5 solid big men in Dampier, Foyle, Jackson, Fortson, Jamison. Most are injured, but when they're healthy....

    Since he has been starting he has been maybe the 2nd best center in the league!All of Golden States injuries could have been a blessing if you also had Porter!I dont think Dampier expected to lose his job when he went to the bench,but he did just that!

    I dont know how his all around game is but he can shoot the lights out and get some rebounds,dont know if he can play D or not.

    Sorry NIKE, but if Jackson continues putting up these numbers on a consistent basis then it would be unfair to compare him to Brad Miller. Because he will be leaps and bounds ahead of Miller. I believe that Dampier will be traded and Jackson will stay in Golden State. The GS front office knows what they have in Jackson and I seriously doubt they will let him go.
