While a lot can be said of how far video games have come since then...not much has changed as far as advertisement quality.

Gawd...like anybody's hands ever moved that fast while playing Legend of Zelda...:)

I liked the other Zelda commerical better...where the guy is walking around yelling "ZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLDAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

    pure greatness.

I especially love the part "Your parents help you hook it up!"

Yeah right... How many people's parents are more technologically savvy than they are? Hell I still get phone calls from my parents to figure out how to work all of the home electronics I bought for them! (PDA's, DVD, receivers, digital cameras, etc.)

Whenever I go home to visit I feel like a paid tech man being asked to explain/fix everything that has a cord! :D

That was an awesome commerical. The 80's ruled!

Check out this site. It has 80's commercials in text.

    And this one http://www.commercial-archive.com/

That reminds me, I meant to start a thread about the Capital One commercial where they stick a pencil up the monster's tail pipe at the end. Anyone else find that to be sick, yet funny? ;)
