For some reason, I was thinking about this the other day...

"Here's Billy Ray Thompson riding Thunderbolt. Billy Ray's serving 10-20 for armed robbery and only has two years to go before he's up for parole. Let's give him a hand so he can win some money to pay his lawyer."

    Anyone besides me ever go?

I went once as a kid with my sister and her two gay friends... the guys loved it... all I remember is the smell of cow and horse dung...

They had a prison rodeo on the Gene Wilder/Richard Pryor movie Stir Crazy!!

Yes, they did. The big event I remember was when they strapped a sack of cash between a bull's horns and whoever got the sack got the money.

I didnt know prison rodeos really existed. I'd only heard of them from that episode of The Simpsons where Marge had to take the convict home to live with them.
