His highlight reel honestly looked like a Kevin Martin one, minus all of the head fakes/fouls. Looks like a rich man's Martin to me. Same goofy shot.

I like the pick. I think Lamb was the best we could have gotten in that position, and he can be really good and a all-star

People need to quit it with this "rich man/poor man" stuff. It has to be one of the laziest, vaguest ways to describe a player ever. If the guy gets proper development, he'll be his own man and he'll be a good player regardless of who he compares favorably to.

It's like any wing who shoots a perimeter shot is now always compared to Kmart on this board.

I think he is a cross between Martin and Nick Young. He might end up a better defender than Martin and better offense than Nick Young. No doubt he may need a few pounds of muscle added. Like about 5 pounds.

Gonna say he is better than Nick Young but not much I can think of projecting past that since he is still growing and has potential.

Except his game is quite a bit similar to Kevin Martin.

He does have a pretty solid crossover, though.

In other words we shouldnt put a label on him yet with rich or poor mans version. He is only a sophomore and put up some good numbers. So where he grows or regresses from there can be anyones guess. He has a high ceiling though. Higher than Nick Youngs obviously because Nick Young stayed in college for one year later. I will start there as his low ceiling as long as he stays injury free and gets playing time.

Biggest knock on him imo is he that takes WAY to many jumpers instead of going to the hole.

No he really doesnt. I am saying a cross between a few players. Like Nick Young, Martin, and maybe a few others. Its hard to say where his career ends up. I have no cap on him yet.

I was watching some of his highlights on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vw7RXNc75Rw

The way he moves around the floor, sets for a shot, and his release really remind me of Martin. He also shoots a lot of shots using the same one handed flick shot that Martin uses.

He's nothing like Kevin Martin. Kevin can't create for others at all-- he either shoots or makes a move to the hoop looking for a foul.

Lamb is a well above-average ballhandler with good vision, good shooting touch, and excellent pace. I agree with DD that he hits me as a Brandon Roy/James Harden-type old man game. I love this pick.

Ok I see some Reggie Miller in there. I am getting a boner now and have to step away before I get too excited.

    Thank you

Only thing he's similar to martin is that he moves very well without the ball.

Isn't his mid-range FG percentage is like around 60s 55ish percent?
