Was it good basketball? Was it fun to watch?

    There were tons of stories.

    - All animals died quickly; humanoid/man made things died next; in the end it was all mother nature lightning against fire.

    - A few teams suffered from major injuries.

    - Defending champion got swept out of the first round.

    - Spurs with 20 game winning streak, including 10 in the playoffs.

    - Thunder eliminated all 3 western conference champions since 1998.

    - Knicks continue to fail in the playoffs, even with Melo putting on brilliant performance and Amare punching fire extinguisher.

    - The flagrant foul fest between Pacers and the Heat.

    - Lebron carried his team to the championship.

    - etc...

    I said 8.

    Pros:
    - OKC running the gauntlet against the WC
    - Spurs playing beautiful basketball, and their winning streak
    - Rondo showing that he can be considered one of the top 3 PG in the league
    - The best player in basketball winning a ring

    Cons:
    - Houston wasn't in it
    - Complete Memphis chokejob against the Clippers
    - Derrick Rose injury
    - A seriously anti-climatic NBA Finals.

That last 'con' was why I scored this postseason an 8, really.

It was a historic post season for the ages. You can all tell your children about the show LeBron put on.

Probably wasn't as good as last year with the grizz and thunder going crazy, but there were so many crazy come backs this year.

Besides the solid match-ups and usually close games, I liked the pace much better. it seemed like there were less of the 3-4 day breaks between games in series this year.

I'm not telling my children about Lebron ( well unless they ask of course) since he is not one of my favourite players.

Was it because the season was short or something else?

Yeah, a lot of things were different because the season was short. Hardly felt like a season at all, more of a trial run.

its a 9 for me. Games were really good, series were close.

Only if Rockets win it, it'll be 10.

East was too weak, otherwise I would give it a 9 too.

The D Rose injury really killed the excitement for me (at least in the East.), but the WCF was really fun to watch.
