    Would have had no idea it was his birthday if wasn't for the Moog on Google's homepage today.

    Moog VSTs have been a staple of mine for a few years now. All BBS musicians and producers should drop a shoutout to the man in this thread!

    I've never used one in my life, and never will, but I can tell you this.....

    My Mom briefly dated Bob Moog in NYC during the early 1950s when they were high-schoolers. Moog went to the Bronx High School for Science and my Mom went to the High School of Music & Art in NYC, where one of her classmates was Diahann Carroll.

    True story! :)

    Roger Joseph Manning Jr. (Formerly of Jellyfish and Imperial Drag, currently studio musician for Beck and Air) formed up a duo called Moog Cookbook a few years back with some other dude. They released an album of 90's covers, and one with 60's and 70's tracks. Fun stuff.
