    Hey everyone....

    So today I got offered a promotion that would go hand in hand with my moving from Houston to Mobile, Alabama. About a 12K raise to start with a chance to make much more over the next few years.

    Thoughts on Mobile? I have never been although they intend on flying us there soon.

    Went to college there for two years. Nice people, and while it's a small city in a lot of ways you are in good vicinity from beautiful beaches and only a two hour commute to debauchery in New Orleans.

    Down side is humidity there is just as bad as Houston, and it rains A LOT.

    Like someone said earlier, Destin is only 2 hours away for fun beaches, while New Orleans is about two hours the other way. You should drive up for a Bama football game during the fall :)
