Got my first Ink last night

    On my inner bicep. Kept it simple but meaningful since this was my first time, and I really didn't know what to expect. Already thinking about going back and getting a nice piece of custom art done.

    For those with ink, any aftercare tips you guys have discovered to help the healing process beyond what your artist told you? I picked up some regular Dial Antibacterial soap and Aquaphor ointment per my artist's recommendation. Any recommendations for different soap/ointment/lotion?

    Keep the ointment and soaps simple, no fragrances. Its usually the scents and other additives that will irritate it.

    Just make sure you don't use the 2nd edition. Those new THAC0 rules are whack, man.

    Well.....tattoos have been around for hundreds of thousands of years. Its doubtful they are going anywhere.
