    I can't see why not. As long as it meets the regulations of a normal car, you should be good to go.

    And I am not aware that bullet proof vests are illegal. I can't see why they would be illegal. Unless you're in a state like New Jersey, Maryland or California where they prohibit everything.

    That's not true. The same rule for guns applies to vests; A convicted felon cannot own one. I own a vest BTW.

    If that's the case, it's a dark path we're going down. I could be highly trained in grappling martial arts and in insane shape, which would make it harder to subdue me.

    You must have some serious dough if you can afford an armored car. Not only do you pay a lot to add that protection but your burn a lot more in fuel and whatnot because of the added weight.
