    WE GOT 2 FIRST ROUNDERS FOR FLYNN THABEET AND HILL!

    We can not only make a playoff push which looks better to potential free agents, we have draft picks in this deep draft. We can maybe trade those 2 picks plus Kmart or Scola or someone to move up in this draft. You guys need to take a step back and look at what we did today. Yes I know we all hate Fisher, but I'd take him along with a first rounder for Hill anyday. And Camby brings in much needed defense, rebounding, and toughness.

    Camby isn't great, but he's MUCH better than Hill, especially since we need a backup center.

    Morey is betting on dallas to be taken out first round by either LA or OKC. Not a bad bet to place , so we shall see.

    Hill today is better than Camby today.

    And as sucky as Flynn is Flynn > Fisher.

    Thabeet was a scrub but we downgraded IMO to trade a mid 2nd for a pick in the 20s.

    This is not how you rebuild and this is not how you tank. You have a new toy but soon you will realize when the shine is gone that you are no better than you were.

    Next years projected lineup...

    Dalembert / Smith
    Scola / Patterson / DMo(?)
    Parsons / Bud / Morris
    Martin (smiling from the sidelines) / Lee (if we match)
    Lowry / Fisher / Llull (?)

    w/possibly 2 1st round picks (more D League material?)

    tell me how did we upgraded?

    Best case scenario - another year on the treadmill IMO.

    And Camby is averaging 9 RPG and 1.4 BPG in 22 MPG.

    He is more than a serviceable backup big.

    You're going by the name. Hill is a better scorer and rebounder per 48 and has a higher PER. Hill is climbing. Camby is declining.

    Camby is always hurt, especially these last few years. Let's hope that Portland doesn't find the right coaching to motivate Thabeet, or this board will explode with the Lin/Thabeet/whomever that the Rox let go of.

    Some thoughts:

    I hate Derek Fisher, both as a player and a person.

    Camby alone is better than Thabeet and Hill put together.

    Obviously, that Mavs first rounder is better than a Minny 2nd rounder.

    We brought in some, not a lot, but some value for what is otherwise complete garbage.

    Wouldn't be surprised if they announce that T-Will is getting shipped either.
