    Wholeheartedly agree. Deke was so important in those playoffs and when he went down, thats when we lost our advantage. I see no reason why Camby wont provide the same things for us.

    Here's hoping another move is on the way.

    @1:25 I was gonna check CF. I was like nothing could have happened in 5 minutes. Checked the clock before and after...

    Camby only has one year left so this trade does not hurt our cap flexibility next season.

    Plan A: Howard - uh, I think I will opt in. Don't wanna go to Houston.
    Plan B: Gasol does not want to play in Houston, we don't want him then.

    I dont think expiring contract is a benefit since we just traded two expiring contracts to get him if I remember right. The only benefit if my memory serves me right is he is serviceable this year and the other two are not.

    Right, though the expirings were just sitting on the bench rotting essentially. Now they've been condensed into a single expiring that will actually contribute some minutes on the floor. Still, I'm underwhelmed at this moment.

    We got him for basically just a second round pick. WIN.

    ....but kept jacking around trying to trade for Howard that they find themselves up against it and tomorrow morning Morey will appear on SR610 and say in a very hoarse voice how "we ran out of time but worked on some things that we can re-visit in the offseason".
