    Houston the city, no...that's why we nuked it first in the Independence Day movie...but the Ship Channel is most definitely a top target. You sink a super tanker in there, and you can cripple the oil industry for quite awhile.

    Its crazy how fast the city of Houston was able to rebuild after that. Its almost as if it didn't even happen!

    Conversely, so many goofballs always think their city is one of the first to be nuked because of their random dumbass industry or military bases; even now after whole planes were specifically diverted to attack Washington and New York.

    The short lived AMC show "Rubicon" had the Houston area at the center of a giant terrorist plot. I won't give it away, but the show was awesome even though it was cancelled. I highly recommend a watch.

    Yes. Why would the #2 city for Fortune 500 HQs, a major port, a huge oil and gas nexus with square miles of refineries be a target? Silly.
