    The recent Maurizio Cattelan exhibit at the Guggenheim

    Although it's brilliant, it's also very disturbing to the senses. I felt dizzy and disjointed by the end of it. Almost sensory overload.

    I went to the Menil Collection in Montrose a few months ago. They had "art" that was simply large canvas painted with a single color. I rage that that's considered "art" by anyone.

    **** like this. THEY'RE JUST A SINGLE COLOR.

    Abstract-expressionism is, now, utter bull****.

    I just want to clarify though - it's not the artists who make me rage so much as the critics, dealers, and 'fans' of the genre who I find irritating.

    i agree, and it's certainly not my favorite genre, in general. my point was that just because you don't like or don't understand something, it doesn't automatically mean it sucks.
