What do you think the Rockets will do at the Deadline?

Morey always has those smaller deals in his back pocket. (Last year example: Dragic/Brooks, Thabeet/Battier)

He'll look at getting D-Will and/or Howard or something to that effect 1st, as we all know.

 

Sac Gets: Scola, Our 1st rounder and NYKs
We Get: Cousins, 2nd rounder + cash

 

terrible trade for us. Rather get Myers Leonard in the draft!

 

We can't trade our 1st but I'd give them Scola and the NYK's for Cousins.

 

We can trade our next available 1st rounder after one gets conveyed to the Nets. If the Knicks don't land in the top 5 and we make playoffs this year, that is our 2013 pick.

 

I dont really follow college bball, is leonard pretty promising? I know he is a 7 footer...Is there any chance, if we go a little further into the lottery ourselves, of landing sullinger and leonard? Like if we became the 12th and nky the 8th?

I'm not optimistic about Morey getting the superstar he is looking for. I'm guessing the Kaman deal gets done and that's about it.

If by controversial you mean trading assets for players the rest of the league doesn't want, I completely agree.

 

My guess is Scola is gone to a contending team for a 2013 1st and a "high upside" player.

Lowry, Martin, Morris, Patterson, and Lee wont be traded unless we net a star.

I'm really intrigued to see if the NYKs would trade Amare for Scola and their 2012 1st.

If it's something that nets us a decent big, I'm okay.

If it's something that gets us out from under Scola's contract, netting a first rounder or such, I'm okay.

Either get some cap space and picks or get a really good player for the future (Eric Gordon, or some such).

No more lateral B.S. moves that keep us at #14 first round picks. That's all I ask.
