......even though you know that Jordan is retiring at the end of the year? I know this won't happen, but if they were receptive to the idea, would you do it?

KT is young & plays extremely hard. With Washington going no where fast, this trade would give them a chance to pick up a talented young SF/PF for the price of renting Jordan for a little over ¾ of a season.

I'm asking this, because I feel that KT will be traded eventually & having Jordan's experience on the team for a fraction of a season could be worth more than anything we could get for KT in any other trade. Imagine how good Francis & Mobley could be with just one season under his guidance, not to mention the rest of the team. I know it's a pipe dream, but give it some thought. Would you?

Yes, trade KT for Jordan. That way he can play for us and be president of the Wizards, too. Real cool!

Things I would trade Kenny Thomas for:

    Steve Kerr
    2nd round draft pick
    Jason Collier rookie card
    A sack of cookies
Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol

The Wizards win 10 more games with Jordan than they would with KT. That's why they don't do it.

At this point, I might trade KT for ANY Jordan:

    Barbara Jordan
    Montell Jordan
    Stanley Jordan
    Eddie Jordan

Heck, maybe even for Queen Noor... I would bet her shot selection couldn't be any worse.

Oh lord ........out of all the trades we've seen posted on here ....this has got to be the most far-fetched.

    1) Why would we trade KT for a player who will be retiring and cant help us past this season?

    2) Why would the Wizards trade Jordan, who is at worst their second best player, a player they are counting on to help them win a title before he retires, for someone who would be a backup for them and a FA after this season?

    3) Im not an expert on NBA rules, but im sure there is one out there that prohibits MJ from trading himself. :D

    codell,

    1) He will help us past this season. The imprint he'll leave on our team for 60 games will be more contribution than KT will make if we sign him to a 10yr, $10M contract. MJ will teach us how to win.

    2) They wopn't win a title this year. That's painfully obvious. Everyone knows it. They're not playing for a title this year. He's playing to teach them how to win.

    3) MJ can be traded. It's not against the rules.

    Sane,

Thanks. I get so tired of having to explain what I felt was plainly stated in my opening post. :(

I say you guys trade KT for Shaq and Kobe.

That way, we can move Kobe to the 3, Ming to PG, and Francis to goalie.
