Marcus Morris should be sent to the D-league

    While I agree with your post generally, are you honestly surprised that an NBA rookie who is transitioning from a college PF to a pro SF is taking longer to do so than FOUR GAMES into his career?

    Don't overlook one point from Feigen's article: Morris has been practicing and playing almost exclusively at POWER forward with the Rockets. Only when Patterson started practicing did Morris likely get many reps at all at SF. For a player who likely trained heavily during the lockout at the 3, that can mess you up a little, I suppose. Good to know Morris will get his SF reps in RGV.

    Actually, the new CBA allows teams to send down third year players. I wouldn't be surprised to see Thabeet back in RGV at some point this season.

    Also, the new rules allow for UNLIMITED D-League moves with young players, so Morris may be making the Houston-to-Harlingen flight on Southwest several times this season.

    he has the tools and skill, just needs to work his ass off and he'll be back quickly
