    Word...these shoes retail for something like $180 and people are fighting over this crap...I don't get it.

    Quannel X and some parents were on the news....calling for Nike and MJ to lower the price and make more available....said they've contacted Nike, but no reply yet.


    If this catches on, i can definitely see Nike responding and maybe even trying to do something about it, not sure what though.

    Pretty sure if MJ makes a $50 sneaker the appeal would be lost...

    Dream is awesome but I dont think those shoes ever took off outside of Harris county

    I dont expect him to lower it that much, but maybe to 150 ish....part of the problem is, and i hadnt noticed this since i dont follow shoes as much anymore, that pretty much all the shoes within his brand are over ~$110. Back when the brand started he had more shoes under $100, since he only had a handful of models, then those shoes made up a significant portion of the lineup. Not so anymore. Unless they go on sale, you're only going to get sandals for under $100.
