Why do teams prefer draft picks versus provent talent such as Scola or Martin

    because teams on the bottom want franchise players. martin and scola are great players but are not even really true all stars..much less franchise players.

    i love those guys, but they are perfect to compliment a franchise player.

    Because stars win championships in the NBA it's been proven and proven and proven. You either get a Rose, Lebron, Durant, or you're just spinning your wheels.

    Martin and Scola were great additions when we still had Yao and would be great additions to a contender. On the Rocks they're good enough to keep us bad.
