    i feel motiejunas isnt that far away from contributing, and i agree, his potential is way high. don't think morey is going to give up on him this soon.

    Yup. The franchise will go down the drain. We needed to re sign the chuck wagon and trade for blair. Only then would we have been good to go :eek:

    Have faith. I don't think Morey is dumb enough to give them Martin, Scola AND 2 of our best young players. He probably took a hint from the league, that they don't want our older borderline allstars, and took one off the deal .

    At this point, I don't even care if we give up too much. I'm sick of us always coming up short in trades and nothing ever happening. I just want this trade to go through so I have something to be excited about. Having a frontcourt of Nene/Gasol is definitely something to be excited about.

    Montiejunas' upside ceiling is probably Gasol. Yeah he's younger, but if trading him nets you a proven PF in Gasol plus Nene, you have to do the deal.
