ATL was a way bigger challenge than the Bengals. Lest we forget there will be two rookie QBs starting on Sunday and as someone else posted Cinci is abysmal against winning teams and is trending downward losing 3 out of 4. As for their vaunted run D, ATL has a top 5 run D as well for all the good it did them. Foster got 111 while Turner had what 45 yards and Turner >>>>>Benson. The Texans went without a sack last week and I doubt that happens again, Dalton will be pressured and we will be reminded that he is a rookie and Benson is a journeyman as the Bengals offense struggles much more than the Texans. Texans 20 Bengals 9
I agree for the most part, but Benson is not a journeyman. If you don't respect him he can burn you, but I don't expect our d to overlook him.
He's serviceable but not having a very good year. 3.9 per carry 792 yards 201 attempts Tate has 753 yards with only 138 attempts
If no Andre I'll be worried for TJ. Andre wont be there to keep the D honest and pluck the ball out of the air on those deep routes. Question: Why is Jacoby the one that gets those deep routes and not Walter when Andre is out? Is Walter simply not fast enough? God knows he has better hands than JJ.
That was a long time ago, like week 3? and Saints are probably the 2nd best offensive team in the NFL. Now say something productive.
That's not a bad year....that's still pretty decent. Should be a win, but doesn't mean it won't be extremely challenging.
NFL.com Ranking RANK 7 9-3 TEXANS Talk about a team win. It gets no better than Houston's victory over Atlanta on Sunday. The Texans took care of one of the NFC's better teams without its starting quarterback, backup quarterback, best defensive player, best offensive player and linebacker Brian Cushing hobbling around. T.J. Yates might not have been perfect, but he gives them a better chance to win than Matt Leinart.
We gotta win out now. We need to get a 1st round bye. Won't be an easy game since its in Cincy and their D is pretty solid. Yates has to play with some confidence, can't turn the ball over. I think turnovers will be the only thing that'll hurt us.
As of right now, I'm listed as having the Texans game on my local CBS affiliate. If this holds true, it'd be the first time I can watch them on my tv, and not some crappy internet feed (although this is better than nothing). CBS won't pull a Fox and change the game tomorrow, will they?! I'm pumped for this game beyond belief. Texans - 24 Bengals - 13
