I live in northeastern Arkansas and have been looking on again off again for the past three hours and still haven't seen anything. Am I in a bad spot?

Kind of late now, but you can keep track of these sorts of events at spaceweather. They had a nice plot of peak meteor activity. Here on the left coast, Mrs. B-Bob and I got up at 2:30, walked to a local park, and saw a nice show (of meteors, mind you). :)

It was clear when we went to sleep at midnight, high clouds with a full moon at 4am  , then clear again at 7am. Never saw a thing.

I woke up at 4:20 this morning. I went outside for 5 minutes and saw about 10 meteorites. (It was partly cloudy with some transparent clouds). I saw about 2 firey good ones and and couple with good smoke trails. The others were average. Then I got cold standing in the yard in my underwear so I went back to bed. Why dont these things ever start early?

I set the alarm for 4 am, and was outside for an hour of spectacular meteors showering overhead. It was amazing.

I live about 40 min. North of Dallas, and out in a new development, away from the glaring city lights, so I saw a lot.

I guess you got me. If I stayed up till 4 am, wouldn't I be staying up late? I meant early like 8 p.m. (the start of night). :p

4:00 isn't early, it's late. Conveniently right before bedtime (at least for my husband, who has nothing to do; I sleep off and on whenever I can get it).

If this truly is the best meteor shower I'd see for the rest of my life, maybe I should have spent more time out there... in the cold, with my neck pointed straight up... glad I got to see one, though.

I saw 7 or 8 in the peak hour. There was one huge one I remember and two that shot at the same time. If I wasn't such an insomniac, I'd be pissed...

I'm in Colorado and had the chance to see the meteor shower the other night. From my view it was spectacular. I only stayed and watched for about an hour though. Space and stuff just doesn't interest me as much as getting my sleep lol.
