Four of the following will keep playing into May:

    Seattle 8-2
    Houston 5-3
    Phoenix 5-3
    Minnesota 5-6
    Portland 4-6
    Utah 4-7
    LA Clippers 3-7
    Golden State 3-8

    1/10th the way to May...

They really need to beat other Western Conference teams. Those losses to the Sonics and Suns could come back to haunt the Rockets.

Two years back they clobbered the East, slobbered against the West. Got close. You're right, need to keep winning East, beating West, too.

    Utah 4-7
    LA Clippers 3-7
    Golden State 3-8

Those wont make it so we just need to fight off these

    Phoenix 5-3
    Minnesota 5-6
    Portland 4-6

I think Rockets will make it though, maybe even as low as the 4th seed.

If they make it as the 4th seed then I know Francis will win MVP.

Rocketfan85, it's too early to count any of them out. The worst of them, GS, is only 3.5 games behind us. Don't forget the Rocks picked up two wins against a Vince-less Toronto team and a Shaq-less Lakers team. We could easily be 3-5 instead of 5-3. I think there's good reason to hope the Clippers implode, but they could also come together and give us a run for our money. And any die-hard Jazz hater would know better than to count them out until it's official.
