Well said. What is being overlooked by many is that what Rice said is universally accepted as being true (unless your name is Steve, Moochie or Cuttino).

I think what xiki meant was that "calling out Coach" was referering
to Rice questioning Rudy's offensive plan; like if it was Rudy that was
telling Steve to ISO all the time.

This was true last year. But not as much this year.

From what I know, this comments were made on the radio. They may have been in the paper too, but I have not seen them there.

 

the game after rice made that statement about the guards passing the ball steve dished out 9 assists.

looks like rice new what he was doing.

lets just hope steve keeps it up: for a PG 30pts 9ast will get people talking MVP more than 30pts and 9 rebs.

Seattle game (which we lost), or in general?

I think it was in general. Even though it could have been the Seattle
game that sparked the comment.
