Maybe, but I have never heard anything positive about Silk Stalkings, except that the talent is comprised of students. That is cool in it's own way. We shall see come September.
Now I have a question...Do I drive for 6 hours to get to Silk Stockings and get toasted, skip the next day of work including last practice before first game Monday, and come back to pick up my son for my birthday on Saturday, or do I just skip the 12 hr rd trip and hangover, and go to work and practice and continue through the weekend w/ my son?
blow it off. stay home. Play your "decision to be good" for all it's worth with the law firm and your woman.
That's the thing, if either cared, it'd make my decision all that easier. RM95's Girl would prefer that I go. The law firm is just so happy that I'm doing this **** without b****ing that they don't care, and I even told them why I needed to get back. Now, if they'll pay for my mileage back to Austin again, that may seal the deal. I'm getting $130 just for that. Add another $130, and I'll definitely do it.
I don't know if I should do that though. Not that it really matters to them since they just spent $640 for my hotel for 3 nights. Also, everyone's so appreciative for me doing this that I don't think they'd have a problem with it...I just don't know if I should.
OK, I'm going. The extra possible $130 helped my decision. Refman, if you're going to the swearing in, let me know. I'd love to meet you.
I thought this whole shabang was a logistical quandry? Now you've entered an ethical element into the process. My brain hurts. [edit] Have a good trip!
My girlfriend, the Queen of Ethics, said that if they were willing to fly me back next week, then they'd be willing to pay for mileage twice as well.
I think The Clubhouse. I also talked to my supervisor on the way back up, and she said defintely they will pay for my mileage. Sweet.
