Good decision but the Barneys still have a long way to go.

It's hard to be a Raptors fan. Its such a pathetic organization, not all their fault though. They've had all their star players walk away or requested to be traded. The young players they do have Bargnani, Derozan, and Ed Davis are all above average talents in the NBA. I don't see any of them becoming first options on any NBA team. So......who gives a crap about if Jay Triano gets fired, no coach is going to improve the talent on that squad.

Yeah they seem to have alot of way above average role players (Calderon, DeRozan, Bargnani, that Davis kid could be good). If they can hire a good coach draft one superstar, they can be a force.

I agree on Ed Davis, he's the one out of the three who probably has the most room to grow. I would have more hope for DeRozan if he ever showed any talent in doing anything other than scoring the basketball...he's a one dimensional player.

Drafting one superstar isn't exactly the easiest thing to do. This years draft is crap so I guess the Raps will have to wait till next year in hope they get a top 3 pick. So much hope:rolleyes:

I wonder if they'd be interested in Rick Adelman. Barganini seems to have the offensive skills that would be a good fit for Adelman's offensive system.

I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell that Rick even talks with them over the phone.
