What do you mean by best? Are you asking skillswise then it's lebron, are you asking player with most value to it's team then that's Nash.

shaq should have 3-4 MVPs. it's still a disgrace to me that nash has more MVPs than shaq.

just to clarify. I was going by the most impressive year. Lebron's all around stats were/are impressive but shaq was the most dominant force

Shaq. People have quickly forgotten how good he was when he was young.

It's funny how folks let the last 3 years, where Kobe was arguably the games best player but was winning, make them think Kobe was the best from 2000 and on.

Lebron Per in his mvp year is nearly a point higher than shaq best year. He took a team with mo williams as its second best player to 66 wins.

I'm going to vote for Rose.

Just because tin-pac asked for the 00s, even though it's 11. So yeah, good job.

    1999-2000 Shaquille O'Neal

One of the most dominant players and centers in sports history.

I've never seen any of the other players, maybe outside of Kobe; Duncan; and LeBron take over game like Shaq could.

    2007-08 Kobe Bryant

    Kobe going through his peak.

    2002-03 Tim Duncan

    2008-09 LeBron James

So many good choices here. It's not Kobe though. He rode prime Shaq to 3 titles.

My vote is for Shaq, with Lebron 2009 a close second. Iverson was definitely the worst, IMO.

I thought he was pretty amazing for a little guy to take that team to the NBA Finals and shock them in game 1.

I wanted a Bucks vs Lakers, I liked the cassell/ray allen backcourt.

bucks/lakers would have been a better finals but iverson just went off on the bucks with those back to back 40 point games
