[Video] Kevin Durant - 39 Points Vs Grizzlies (5.15.11)

The very last basket in that video was a thing of beauty. Harden's behind the back pass to Durant on the fast break.

 

Memphis's defense on those two pick-and-roll plays in the fourth quarter was strange.

Battier seems to deliberately run into the ball handler (Westbrook) on the pick and takes his time getting back to his man (Durant). Both times it leads to dunks by Durant. It's as if Battier was expecting a defensive rotation that didn't come.

I missed the game, but from the video it looks like OKC figured out how to take advantage of O.J. Mayo being in the starting lineup. A lot of Durant's shots seems to have come off him being defended by the shorter Mayo.

 

Durant has some pretty good hands. He caught some difficult passes in traffic and finished so easily.
