    I don't see why the Lakers would do this if they had appointed Shaw as the heir apparent. Has Shaw interviewed with the Rockets yet?

    I dont think so, though I might've missed it. They did get permission to talk to him(I believe). Doesnt appear to matter anymore though as its reportedly down to 3 guys now.

    I don't think the Lakers want to be perceived as giving Shaw the inside track. I hope they hire an outsider who tries to change up a lot of things.
