My comp crashed and lost all my files, and I found out that I have them on my comp, just scattered everywhere. How can I put all my files under the My Documents like I had them before? I also am having problems with activating programs- the comp gives me somethin like "All pathways and file names can't be found" and it won't let me copy or paste Microsoft Word documents. I know little to nothing about computers, so can someone please help with this problem? I'd appreciate it, thanks.
Take your computer, installation disks, and any rescue disks you have to a computer repair professional. Some of your data may be permanently lost.
LOL. Windows kicks ass, just like I am kicking your ass in the post count. (for those of you that don't know, I chat with Azadre a lot on AIM, and he is pissed off that I have so many more posts then him. )
I have the same Apple vs. PC debate with my brother in law more often than I'd care to recall. The bottom line is that peoele should buy whatever systems they can afford (Macs are WAY expensive) and are compatible with their business. If I had a Mac my wife would never be able to work at home so she'd be at the office a lot more. I'll keep my PC so I can at least come in to chat with my wife while she works.
