Teams with an X (clinched berth), Y (division), and Z (conference) all will have the following next to their name.

I'd bet most of the East teams will clinch a spot by next week.

But in the West, it's going to come down to the wire for the last couple of spots.

    This shows you two things:

    (1) The top four teams in the East are very good.
    (2) There are lots of middle of the pack teams in the West.

The top 4 teams in west have better record than top 4 teams in east. Overall, west win about 58% of cross-conference games. East are still weak this year.
