Bowling or Billiards

Enjoy billiards more.

Have associated bowling as more of a co-ed group activity.

Both i get better as i drink

 

Billiards by a slight edge for me as well. Granted, I'm a much better pool player than I am a bowler (150-160 average), so I'm sure that plays a big part in it, but I never get into bowling as much as pool. Now, if I'm just going with a bunch of friends, and we're just going for cheap beer and a good time, then I don't mind bowling at all, but my enjoyment goes way down when someone who knows all the nuances comes in and wrecks shop. Again though, it's probably just the fact that I can hold my own in pool.

 

I voted for bowling but probably because I am younger

 

Billiards because you can do nut shots.

 

Thought about making a "Billiards or Darts" thread. I still think my comparison is better. I think of bowling more as a counterpoint to golf.

I recently started bowling, but I enjoy having people underestimate me in pool as well.

 

Too many douchesnoggles play pool because they think they are some type of shark.

 

This is based on my experience:

I seem to go bowling more with women.

Billiards more with buddies .

 

What is this billiards thing you people talk about?

A better poll would be between bowling and pool.

 

I do better at bowling, but I love billiards. Even though i'm not too good at billiards I can play for hours. So it's billiards for me.

 

I dont like playing billards, so I have more fun bowling, but this is my experience playing both, I got bored more easily with billards.
