Being in the HOF isn't determined by votes, its determined by points IIRC. Since AI got an MVP award as well as numerous all star appearances he's a lock for a first ballot hall of fame.

For all the fame and notoriety he generated I think he deserves no less than a first ballot, the guy certainly is one of the most polarizing players to ever hoop. I personally think he's one of the most overrated players ever and the only reason he got so many PPG was because he took 90% of the shots of the team, but if even team owners managed to get into the hall of fame there's no reason why he can't be a first ballot.

If AI were a Laker he would have been teammates with Shaq and won a bunch of championships.

Oh how the mighty have fallen.

That vid actually makes me quite sad, AI was damn fun to watch back in the days. Same with stevie franchise. I miss those two players. Selfish, yes. Stupid, yes. But both of them literally left everything on the court. They really played with heart. I am really sick and tired of a lot of the young players nowadays looking for a easy way out.

No question. Doesn't he have one of the highest all time scoring averages?
