    With the rockets luck, wouldn't be farfetched for the league to deny it on some technicality they pull out of their ass.

    Didn't the Rockets get a disabled-player exception last season for Yao, resulting in Ariza, and later Courtney Lee?

    I guess they can get a DPE for the same player two seasons in a row?

    Technically yes, but likely no. All the int'l leagues have started and all the diamonds have signed for the year.

    If we have 45 days from last Thursday, we have to use it by January 29. I wish it were closer to the trade deadline when teams start getting desperate to cut salary. We might get a decent player or a first round pick if we're lucky.
