    my hunch is that we'll be granted the disabled player's exception and then DM wll trade it for Thabeet or Diop.. :grin:

    I don't know if Memphis will trade Thabeet(former #2 overall pick) for a TE. I think they rather include him as a add in, in a larger trade. To net them some good talent.

    I think Marc Gasol will want to go to a larger market like Houston and get out of Memphis just like what his brother did.

    Yes, we have a center issue.....

    Everyone is so concerned about trading and upgrading every other position but it is now time to focus specifically on findind a starting long term 5....Hill is not it(hes a 4....period) and miller is too old.Morey needs to address that issue first because you cant beat the
    lakers without a force in the middle.Thebeet is not a threat but is a back-up that we could use.Gortat would be the immediate answer but he is Kaman 2.0 (which isnt necessarily a bad thing) and in my opinion not going to be as dominate as a big man as most think.Basically we are officially rebuilding and it SHOULD START IN THE MIDDLE.........IT IS WRITTEN.

    I will call Orlando and try to get Marcin Gortrat. They are struggling and if we offer Courtney Lee + filler, I think they will bite. Marcus Camby or Prysbilla are good options too but I don't know if Portland is making them available. Or wait until the offseason and try to sign Tyson Chandler.

    Trade # 1
    Houston gets Marcin Gortrat (C) from Orlando for Courtney Lee + Filler

    Trade # 2
    Prybilla(C)+ Andre Miller(PG) from Portland for Aaron Brooks, Jeffries, either Jordan Hill or Patterson

    Before the trade deadline Shane, Chase, Courtney, Ish, or a mix of some of these guys will be gone. We're stacked at the 1/2/3 and light on 5s

    I hope Morey doesn't make stupid trades like the ones mentioned on this forum, guys like Diop, Gortat, Haywood etc. won't make a tiny bit of difference, the Rockets are stuck in mediocrity unless they can find a superstar in the draft.
