Kemba Walker posted the first triple double of his collegiate career in Connecticut's 94-61 victory over Maryland-Baltimore County.

Walker had 24 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists on the night, shooting 9-for-13 from the floor and 2-for-3 from distance.

Walker came into Friday's game averaging 30.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game for the undefeated Huskies.

Junior against D2-quality teams = video-game like stats. He had the option of scoring 50 or getting his first career triple double. He chose the latter.

To be fair he was the #14 prospect by Rivals out of high school. He underperformed his first two years. Here's the top 20:

    1. BJ Mullens
    2. Jrue Holliday
    3. Demar DeRozan
    4. Brandon Jennings
    5. Scotty Hopson*
    6. Tyreke Evans
    7. Al-Farouq Aminu
    8. Greg Monroe
    9. Samardo Samuels
    10. Willie Warren
    11. Devin Ebanks
    12. Chris Singleton*
    13. Ater Majok*
    14. Kemba Walker*
    15. Ed Davis
    16. Elliot Williams
    17. Ty Walker*
    18. Terrence Jennings*
    19. William Buford*
    20. Tony Woods*

    * - still in college

I take that back, it looks like Walker was actually appropriately ranked given the people right around him are still in college. He'll declare this year--if there's a draft.

So far this season, Kemba Walker is the player of the year running away. He has pretty much single-handedly taken UConn from middle of the Big East pack to the top of the conference. Hence the Huskies moving from unranked to #9 right after the Maui.

Other PGs have been effective at about the same height.

CP3, Brandon Jennings, Tony Parker, Rajon Rondo, Raymond Felton.

He's a SG in a PG's body... I love the guy, but he has Aaron Brooks written all over him, and this isn't what this team needs!

As someone mentioned on another thread, he's basically a clone of Ben Gordon.

No his not he measured 6'1 at various different camps, which is more than adequate for a PG...
